Climate Change & Warm Weather
How did you enjoy a walk in the warm sunshine in the middle of winter? Have you noticed that the birds seem to be confused whether it is summer or winter? Have you noticed plants peeking out in the middle of February? Unfortunately, these are all signs of global warming. While enjoying an unusually warm winter day, think about all the glaciers melting. Think about all the animals losing their habitat up north. Plants that would normally grow when it's hot think that February is the middle of summer. This disrupts their growth cycle and ecosystem. Next time that you put your winter coat away and wear your spring jacket, think about all the harm global warming is doing to our plant. Ask yourself: what can I do to make a change?
